I've been trying to find anything online which would show if there is an appeals process in motion but, so far, I have found nothing. I sincerely hope there will be some effort made in Austin to overturn this poorly-made decision. How could this happen? Wasn't there reasonable doubt? I think that the death of this little boy - however tragic - might have been an accident, so how in heavens name could the jury find ms. Jimenez guilty? Has there been no appeal? I think this was not a fair trial at all. Is there nothing to be done about this horrible sentence?
