Making fun of face masks in Mexico City

| April 28, 2009 | Comments (0)

03 As the global media coverage of the swine flu outbreak continues around the world, here in Mexico City people are starting to see the light side of the situation.

Roughly half of the people on the streets of Mexico City that I’ve seen walking around over the last few days have donned the government-issued blue face masks.

Jesus Chairez, an artist, photographer and opinion writer from Dallas, Texas who now blogs here in Mexico City, took some awesome shots of people around the Zona Rosa neighborhood of people with their face masks.

Click here for more shots on Chairez’s Flickr page.
